Registration Requirements

Valid Email Address

To register, you must provide a valid email address. A temporary password will be sent to the email address immediately after registration, allowing you to sign in to My Account and register your SaskEnergy account(s).

SaskEnergy Account Number and Meter Number

When you sign in, you will be required to enter your SaskEnergy account number and your natural gas meter number the first time you access your account.

Your Account Number can be found in the top-left corner of your bill.

Your Meter Number can be found on your natural gas meter. Most natural gas meters are installed outside, however, some may be installed inside your home in the basement. Please note that some natural gas meter badges may still read SaskPower Corp or Provincial Gas.

All meter numbers entered must be 8 digits. If the meter number displayed on your natural gas meter is not 8 digits, please enter the appropriate number of zeros before the meter number to make it 8 digits.

Browser Requirements


The My Account application has been designed for use with the most recent major releases of Microsoft's Edge.

SaskEnergy's My Account stores information in a very small text file, called a 'cookie', on your computer and is removed when you close your browser (known as a 'session cookie').
Accepting a session cookie does not give us access to your computer or to any personal information. It is simply a small file that contains a unique identifier that distinguishes you as a unique customer when you move from page to page. This allows our web server to send your account information to only you when you click on a new page.

SaskEnergy's My Account uses JavaScript, also known as Active Scripting, for display functionality. For example, the meter dials, the drop-down date fields and the loading page all use JavaScript. Without JavaScript or Active Scripting enabled, the site will not display or function reliably.

My Account uses TLS/SSL or "Transport Layer Security/Secure Sockets Layer," which are industry standard security protocols to secure communications between two systems. When you enter My Account, you will connect with our secure server. TLS/SSL encrypts the information sent between our servers and your browser by changing all the information into a code that is extremely difficult to decipher.

Modern browsers support TLS/SSL encryption to ensure the security and privacy of the information being passed between your computer and My Account. We require at a minimum the use of 128-bit SSL encryption, which is also supported by all modern browsers.

To determine if your online connection to My Account is secured, check the padlock in the address bar that is displayed by the majority of browsers.

If your browser does not support 128-bit encryption, you will need to upgrade to a browser that does in order to continue to access secure pages of My Account. Please install any modern browser, such as Chrome, Chromium Edge, Firefox a browser that supports 128-bit encryption.

Other Requirements

Adobe Reader

To view certain items in My Account, you will require Adobe Reader, which is available free of charge.  However, this product is not required to register or use any other features in My Account.
